    In Phase 3, we are told to stay within 2 pounds below or above our last dose weight. This may seam like an enormous feat for some especially if you keep seeing the scales go up. When this happens, there is a possibility that you might just have made a mistake in your diet.

    Top mistakes done on Phase 3 of the HCG diet includes:

    1. Suddenly eating too many calories
    2. Foods having hidden starches or sugars
    3. Eating too many cautionary foods
    4. Failure to track daily food intake
    5. Low protein intake
    6. Neglected to comply with daily weight monitoring

    No injections is given once you are off the diet. Actually, the shots are only taken during Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 3 resets your weight set point based on you last injection weight.
