What is P1?

    Phase 1, or what others may call as P1, is known as the Loading Phase. In Dr. Simeons’ Manuscript, Pounds and Inches, one of the chapters entitled Gain Before Loss explains this phase.

    In this phase, you must gorge – and I mean literally, eat and stuff yourself with very large amount of food – no matter how overweight you are. For those who are new to this protocol, I bet you’re now horrified of the additional weight you could gain from this. However, you cannot skip this phase. You need to do this to stock up your normal fat reserves to be able to comfortably go through the 500-calorie diet in Phase 2. As reluctant as you may be, this would be your two days for forced feeding. You’ll eventually realize its importance when you get to phase 2.
